Looking for Math Software

I'm looking for a good math software (not a calculator), which can do derivations, integrals and all this stuff, e.g. an assistant to solve problems concerning algebra, linear algebra, geometry, analysis - at least a few of them.
It should run on MIPS CPUs and be affordable for a poor student like me...

There is a calculator software that HP did, it's like an HP 49. It's called the Xpander and i really don't know where you can get it from.
Your best choise would be to use an HP 49 emulator. Leo has ported one i think. But once again i don't remember Leo's webpage.

I'll give it a try although I've never worked with HP calculators before; I prefer Casio.
Perhaps there are more ideas, something like
