I'm in the market for some new headphones which I use with my PPC. I only want the in-the-ear ones, and preferably Sony, but any other is good. I have some now, but it's held together with masking tape, any suggestions on what I should get? I like the Sony ones that fold up, I need compactability, and I need good sound quality with loudness and bass. Thanks.

I don't know where he got them (I think it may have been Japan

), but my dad has a pair of Sony headphones (the ones with the little plugs that go in your ears) that also has noise reduction (i.e. when you're on an airplane, you can't hear the engine noise), and those work really well for me. If you want, I can ask him where he got them.

Darn, and I was just in Japan! LOL
Anyway, I don't like the ear plug ones, they fall out. I think I'll go with the Sony MDR-A44L (), $25.

hey paul thats exactly what mine are, but i am on my third pair. A TIP: if you are getting street style headphones philips is great but DO NOT go Sony on those. SONY's street style headphones are the SHITTIEST pieces of CRAP and the good ones are WAY overpriced.

I posted this in the other post, but these are great style and sound and what I have. I constantly get people asking me where I got em when I am on the subway. They are bang and olufsen and made of solid metal and rubber. very stylish.
