Faster: PC Card of CF Expansion paq?

Faster: PC Card of CF Expansion paq?

Postby ChiefStinkyNutz » Mar 24, 2002 @ 10:37pm

I have a 3835 and was thinking about getting an expansion paq. The 1gb micro drive is $349 on Compaqs site and I was wondering if there is a speed advantage with getting the PC Card or the CF expansion paq. Is it even that big of a deal? I would like to get the PC card expansion paq so I can also get the wireless lan card at some point.

Thanks,

If you went for the PC card, you could use a modem, lan, etc. AND IF, you should just FORGET ABOUT THE IBM MICRODRIVE, for slightly less you could get a 5 GB pc card drive from Toshiba or Kingston.

the microdrive is small, so that is good, but why get a small drive then rig it with a pc card adapter.

so, get the pc card.. i love it, but i have a 720 (HPC with built in PC card drive)
