Activesync problems

Hi,

I am having problems with my Activesync - I have set the PPC up at work using USB (using a partnership) and everything works OK - when I tried to set it up at home (both as a partnership and just as a file swap) using USB it stops me browsing the Internet using my cable modem (I am using Win XP) when I use the COM1 port everything works. - Any Ideas ?

maybe an IRQ conflict?
