Does the battery need charging when you buy one ?

I had to charge my E-125 overnight when I first got it before i could use it. But that's no excuse. You can plug the AC power in and use it perfectly properly. Plus I'm sure there are plenty of them back there open for use or under the counter. I mean, they would WANT to demonstrate the PocketPCs to get sales and stuff.

99% of PDAs are shipped from the factory with at least some charge in them. They have to be tested, though you wouldn't believe it with some of them...

I think you got some bad service and a lazy person in my opinion. they are right,99% do come already charged from the facotry. They just plug them in for the remainder but htey can still show adn demonstrate what the ppc can do. What store would that bemay i ask?

Yeah, i know, that's what I meant, although I also know they aren't exactly well-known for their excellent service. They probably hire lots of students, students know nothing :)

The store only has a Palm display model... but no PocketPC model...

That's why I asked if they could take one out :)
