why don't you just direct stream the video in virtualdub... it'd be faster, and wouldn't hurt the quality.

When I do that I get video with "line artifacts and my audio is like 5 seconds out of sync"

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I swear I followed the instruction step by step.

An interesting thing...

I had an old computer and I tried the steps as listed in the guide on this site and the sync is ok. Must be a codec issue...

But I still get the darn lines everything a scence changes... Anyone else see this? I don't get any of these problems when I do the Vidomi method.
