If all that's broke is the glass and not the LCD, then you should look on eBay for a broke Jornada. People sell their broke PDAs for parts at really cheap prices ($5 to $20). Since the warrenty is no good anymore, open "Jorny" up and take out the old glass and put in new glass from a broken Jornada. If for instance you found one that was submerged in water, the glass would still be good.

I think it's the lcd, the screen feels smooth when you feel it. I can't feel the cracks at all.

hmm maybe moose. If the LCD breaks does it look like broken glass? Cuz that's what mine looks like hopefully that's what it is, the underside of the screen.

I'd suggest replacing the glass with pexiglass or some kind of clear plastic. That way it will be lighter and it won't break!
