ARM6? I've had an ARM6 on my shelf for the past 5ish years - I don't think you mean ARM6. ;) ARM 9, maybe. :) ...with Java capability "Jazelle", and SIMD instructions. They're supposed to go into production end of this year, I think (go digging on this forum for ARM9 - I or somebody else posted a URL before I think).

As for price, etc, they'll likely be the same sort of price as whatever the top of the range is now...

End of this year....I guess I can wait that long :wink: Anyone think it will be worth it? And will any of these new ones have CF slots? What am i asking that for, ill go take a look around...

And 800 dollars for a pda? Thats hella expensive.

in the next few months you will see the Asus Zayo, Toshiba e330, Viewsonic PPC, acer n20, Alaska Cove Mexpal.

The next generation of PPCs will not only run on faster xscales, but TI and motorola have jumped on board ARM so there will be a variety of CPUs to choose from as well.
