What is the deal with secure digital, why is it so popular all of the sudden? What is the diffrence between it and other solid states?

Ive herd it doesnt allow you to put copyrighted material on it or something. Is that true?? How the hell does that work? I mean i just read moose saying he stores mp3's and divx's on his so it must not work to well? As far as pirated software how does it know its not legal?

It has DRM and copy protection, that doesn't mean you can't put copyrighted stuff on it. There hasn't been a surge of popularity, it's slowly gaining steam.

Yup, you got it. Maybe if there were only 1 type of processor from the beggning it'd be a bit more useful.
