does anyone know if the GENIO devices will ever be released in the US?

I was looking at the e550X/MD model:
400 MHz XScale
128 MB RAM
1 GB Microdrive
1 CF II slot
1 SD slot
many expansion items.

currently it is only out in japan but I would like to see a similar model here. If not, do any of you know a good place to find import electronics from japan?

The Genio is released in the U.S. I know that Compusa carries them.

That's the GX/MD model, not just X. And it comes with built in WiFi, too, I believe.

oh.. it calls it integrated... not just shiped with. is there anybody to confirm this?
