I have an iPaq 3650, wich has been broken since around July. I took it apart with some help from the dale coffing site and the help of some nice people on here. I pretty much found out the problem was a broken power cable.
Well i sent my iPaq to compaq and had them fix it (it's off warranty) they charged me $121. I think the price was a little high, dont have it back yet but if i get it back and have no new screen or anything im goning to be ticked. Does this sound high to anyone else?
The only reason i didnt buy a new ppc is becuase of all my accessories :(. I have a CF sleeve, a 256mb flash card, and a Socket 10/100 nic, the kind without the pig tale that costed a shit load of money! I know i could use all that stuff with a new iPaq or any ppc with a CF slot but i just didnt have the money for a new ppc right now. I lost my job about 2 weeks ago, and had car trouble. I just now got a new job but im only workin part time, so its just enough to scrape by, my old job i was workin like 47hrs a week, big change in pay heh.
