Quake bench on 300Mhz Axim X5

Using an autoexec.cfg with just an entry of "timedemo demo1" my 300Mhz Axim achieved 7.2fps. Well, that's what the E740 originally got and it's a 400Mhz device. So what do you guys think?

Update: I decided to run a bench at 200Mhz and the framerate was 5.8fps....ewww.

So far I like my Dell. It might be .6fps slower than my e310 in PQ, but the screen, d-pad, features, and price beat the shat out of the Toshiba. Oh, and as I did mention the d-pad...mine works just fine. I don't have any problems going left or right, or diagonal, or pressing more than one button at a time. So far I have played Interstellar Flames and Super Mario 3 via YameCE and the d-pad has worked just fine. It's obviously not as good as the EM-500/E-125's d-pad, but it lets me play games with fairly good control (something that my e310 wouldn't let me do). Anyways, I'm mailing out my rebate tommorrow and I must say that the 300Mhz Dell is a great buy for $199. Now I want to see PQ benches for the 400Mhz Dell so I will have an incentive to attempt overclocking.

YAME runs NES games full speed on my PPC.

Is PocketGB any faster than YAME? I know it's a commercial emulator, do you get what you pay for? Do you have to pay for the seperate modules?

Oh wait, it's called... Morph? Gear? now? MorphGear... weird name.

I believe Morphgear runs NES module at 60fps consistently. The GB module is good too. The SNES/GBA modules need work.. but hell thats what PocketSNES: Bleeding Edge is for.

As for GBA well its the only option, but so slow ;o

Gameboy emulates faster than an NES emulator for obvious reasons. Is that NES running with sound, Gameboy on my Zayo slows a little bit with YameCE, with sound on.

didnt u make a post in brighthand called "another one bites the dust" where about 15 people posted how their e310 died, and at the end, they all died same way cuz some kind of defective ROM chips? your thread was one of the main reasons of why i didnt buy the e310 2 months ago...
