I have a H3850 and i copied a 817 kb and 102 kps short movie clip using the 'copy to mobile device method in windows media player. it copied over fine and i played the video and the whole video was fine except for sound.

I have the same problem on a Dell Axim X5 Advanced. The file plays fine on the desktop PC, but no sound on the PPC...

Any ideas?

Try encoding it using the DivX codec. The size and performance will be better anyway.

use a sample rate lower than 44 like 22khz. works fine on my axim.
