Anyone have attempt this before...to make a connection between hp jornada pocketpc with an external laptop harddisk...thus making the harddisk appear as a removable drive when view thru WindowCE.

Currently having a external laptop harddisk casing with firewire and usb port that can connect to a PC.

WindowsCE is incredibly cut down to fit in it's memory and processor constraints. Plug n Play in the form you know it is gone, you really can't add or upgrade new hardware. Hell, device drivers on CE are hard enough that many people will write normal programs intead. That, and the battery in PPCs are MUCH smaller than laptops, so unless the HD is running off it's own power source, it would be all but useless.
