You may want to leave your BE eating dust. It will be close to $300 US to import the Card.

It is only available so far in Asia and the UK. I intend to use it on both my E-125 and BE.

I have to activate a sim through a cell provider, buying an activation kit soon!!!!

The card is not network locked so it can be used on many providers networks.

I will most likely go wih Fido up here in Canada.

Bell offers the Audiovox Theira Phone already
And Fido uses the Merlin PC Card for GPRS, but Fido has no issue with me providing the card and signing on.

Instructions will follow later. I am not a software specialist so I can not say yet how to hook this all up " The right way"

Right now it is a cab file install.

The other thing to think about is, with no built in speaker How are you going to know someone is calling you?

I will have to find a way to trigger the buzzer spearker ( far less sound volume)

Still don't understand why this is supposed to induce me to "respect" the BE-300.

All you have to compare this to is your other Mips device, the E-125. Big whoop. The only thing the e-125 EVER had was a superior screen. But now with the TFT screens becoming industry standard with the new PocketPCs, that minor edge is lost.

How about buying a real PocketPC? About a month ago, the Dell Axim had a discount reducing the total price to $175. So even the BE-300s edge of cheap pricing is quickly dwindling. Even now, the lowend Axim retails for $200 (300 mhz Xscale- for those that wanna hack it, it can probably be OC'ed to 400 Mhz)

Now then, if the BE-300 users REALLY want to impress me, how about them buying Dexplor in significant numbers. Its an excellent application. Or buying Countersheep, or Argentum in large droves?

wolf, i hv to say $300 for the cf phone card is way to0 xpensive :/, i would rather purchase a Axim. despite all the inconvenience of BE300, there ar many great applications only made for be such as "EXPOD GOLD" (it blows ppc 2002 os when it comes to userfriendliness), "Taskbar" (way better than wisbar or gigabar), minimalboot, and etc......:D
