Hey Cyg,

Right now all firing is done with the stylus. I considered making the buttons fire, but the shots wouldn't be nearly accurate enough (in my opinion). Consider shooting down an incoming missile by having to line up the missile exactly at 0,45,90,etc degrees (to correspond with the D-Pad). Or if you're firing a grenade, how far did you want it to go?

It just didn't seem appropriate to have the buttons do that. I guess if there's enough demand for it, I could work something like that into the game, but I bet it would make it harder, not easier, which could potentially make the game frustrating instead of fun.

Anyway...

I used the Axim X5 300 as my design platform, but I've heard it runs smoothly on the iPaq H3650, Casio E-125 and BE-300 too. I haven't had any replies on the SH3 build I made.

Thanks for the feedback,
John
