defective CF card?

Postby bsmack » Feb 6, 2003 @ 4:17am

Everything I install on the CF card gets corrupted. I can install on my axim just fine. Is there something I need to do to the CF card first to make it work?

Well... you might want to try formatting the storage card. Download Dexplor, it's a file explorer program that also lets you edit the registry, open ZIP files, built in search functions, and... it can format storage cards. Here's the URL:
http://www.dex-plor.com/

If that doesn't help at all then ya, you've got a defective CF card and you should probably exchange it for a new one.

CF Cards HAVE been known to come corrupted. Just tell Sandisk what's up and ask them if you should exchange it for a new one.
