Well, raw CPU benchmarks already exist, but those are irrelevant anyway since most people want PPCs to be fast to deal with video, games, etc. So a SETI@Home benchmark wouldn't really help.

As for the client, I'm sure it could be ported, but no one seems to want to, so your on your own.

I don't know what the SETI software does (mathematically), but more than likely it performs floating point math, which the Pocket PC is terrible at. A single $600 desktop PC could do more processing in a minute than the PPC could do in an hour. Plus as Moose said, you would have to leave your PPC on, and the CPU would be running at 100% which would quickly drain the battery if you weren't on external power.
