the problem is probably that the MAD library on the PocketPC side cannot figure the sample rate of the MP3s ... I'd suggest 2 things : try to convert them to 11 kHz, or try to use a constant bitrate if you used a variable bitrate ... I never had this problem, it may be something wrong with your lame encoder version too ...
