That part is tricky. The way to kill that kind of snail is to airstrike them. Since theyre so high in the level, air isnt a factor on the air strike. By now, you should only have bio-strike. Adam, btw, its Coane.
Ill show you how to beat them next time I see you. If you really want to beat the game easily, you can always edit the weapons and make the mortar a beam cannon.
I found a variation of #3. While an enemy snail was doing his death explosion, I quickly tapped "Move" and I could move under the same conditions as #3.
