Yes, the plan is to initially support the Symbian Serie 60, most specifically Symbian OS 6.1.

UIQ might follow shortly as it seems there isn't a lot of difference... But I don't have access to an UIQ device (yet).

- PocketHAL will expose a RGB565 backbuffer on all Symbian phones.

- The first released version won't be optimized for maximum speed. The focus will first be on functionality and correctness. You can expect the performances to be similar to the "direct screen access components" on 65536 colors devices and somewhat slower on 4096 colors devices. This will be optimized for the second release.

- The Serie 60 WINS emulator will be supported, including a 1/64th second precision timer to properly emulate the real devices. No more of this 1/10th second non-sense on the emulator.
