Want to learn gapidraw -> don't know where to start.

Hey there, I'm an aspiring game designer, and I'm trying to learn how to use gapidraw.

I tried doing the tutorial, but it didn't work out. It gave me errors: "Cannot find gapidraw.h" etc.."

I figured that would happen since it was a tutorial for gapidraw 104 instead of 201b that I just downloaded. So I tried figuring things out, changing the include files in project settings, and so on, but that only seemed to introduce other errors instead; "Drawtext (or whatever) function doesn't take 7 paramaters".

Can someone tell me where to go to learn this stuff? I just want to learn some basics today.

The GapiDraw 2.01b samples really do provide all of the basics. The 'simple' demo shows you how to blt an image to the backbuffer, and provides a solid foundation on which to build. There's a tile demo included as well. You'll find some tutorials on our website at in the forums, and you'll find a wealth of information in these forums as well.

If you still need some pointers after looking over the GapiDraw samples, feel free to ask.
