Hi.
I finally got around finishing my latest creation - a 2003 style (graphics, sounds etc) variation on my favourite game from the 80s - River Raid.
It is called ZRaid and is a vertically scrolling action game filled with all kinds of "things" to blow up, which coupled with variety of cool explosion /effects etc , should result in a lot of fun for people who like this kind of stuff.
Basically you fly a jet up river in an attempt to destroy bridges while avoiding hitting the canyon walls.
The river is heavily guarded with tanks, choppers, submaries and enemy aircraft trying to stop you etc ..etc ...
Since this game is rather CPU intensive ( tons of alpha-blended stuff + constantly scrolling background which prevents usage of dirty rect ) I am interested what kind of performance it would get on different devices.
It runs very smooth on my Ipaq 3835 and quite a bit slower on my toshiba e330 ( but still playable.)
You can enable frame rate counter using Options menu.
Let me know how it runs on all these different PPCs out there :-)

PS.
Just like with Anigma, I will release the source code for this game as well.
