GapiDraw animation observation...

Just an FYI for animation!

Device: I'm using an Ipaq1910.

I tried the framerate animation and timer animation at the same time. What I noticed is this:

The button press affects the framerate animation but not the timed one. Are there any workaround to sync the framerate. Anyone noticed this? Thanks.

I believe some devices have quite a bit of overhead on stylus and button events. If you are just using framerate based animation you'll notice this as a slowdown in smoothness of the animation, or possibly even sluggish controls. You might want to try the multithreaded GapiDraw framework (GapiApplicationMT.cpp) to see if it frees up the ProcessNextFrame method.

Does that mean we'll have to wait for the rapture engine until after that?

Sorry, yes. W2ppc is my primary focus until its released. After that I'll be able to focus more attention on the RaptureEngine. We're also negotiating with a few other developers to bring their titles under the PocketPC Studios banner plus I still need to finish KrazyMaze for release. Then there's the next big Warlords project and my spare time is being spent writing a GapiDraw book. I wish they would hurry up with human cloning because I need a few more of me to work for free! :D
