I was reading the readme in GapiDraw for Symbian, and I was wondering why CGapiRGBASurface is not included, and if it will at a later time.

efortier: RGBA surfaces might be supported if we manage to get the libpng/zlib working on the Symbian platform... The Symbian png reader omits transparency information...

By the way, the simple demo does not work on the N-Gage, are you aware of this?

Best regards..

Marco.

gott_e: Yes, as we have stated on the website and in the readme.txt, the only devices currently supported are Nokia 7650, Nokia 3650 and Sony Ericsson P800.

bluescrn:

The screen is the same on 3650/7650/N-Gage. They all use 4 bits each for red, green and blue. However the hardware keys differ between 3650/7650 and the N-Gage (There are three extra buttons that we don't know anything about since we don't have the device)

In Symbian, key presses on some of the device keys are not sent to your application even if you've got the keyboard focus (for example the "menu" key on the 3650/7650 that alwalys starts the menu program). There is no such thing in Symbian as GXOpenInput() on PocketPC:s that enables a lock on all hardware buttons.

If only we could borrow a N-Gage from someone...
