In order to run the sample apps, you will need to have the GDxxx.dll and any resourse files (images etc) that are required. Look in the sample directories for the res or resource folder and copy the contents into the directory where you are running the program from. And make sure that it has the gdxxx.dll file in there as well.

I don't know if I just can't find the right gd301.dll file, but it still gives me errors. There is an evaluation version. Why not include that .dll with the sample so that it won't be so hard to get working?[/quote]

How do I add another image named "test.png" to the simple program? I have tried to follow the outline of the code but with no luck. Thanks
PS. I notice that you are trying out PPL. What do you think about it? Is it as fast as C#?

One thing that makes it hard is that I don't understand what certain things are for, like BltFast; what does that mean? or GDBLTFAST_KEYSRC. Perhaps if I understood it a little more. The problem is that I understand C# basics, but seem to get lost when looking at C++. Thanks though for trying
