Hey, I gotta upgrade a few pc's for people. I am wondering. I've notice the new Sempron Processors from AMD. I've never used AMD myself yet but these look good. The Slot A one's don't interest me as much but the socket 754 +3100 CPU is looking good in the performance tests. Anyone here got one yet?

Not got one, but they're very good from what I hear. Your looking at around -20% compared to an Athlon64 3000, and faster than an XP3200. (Mainly due to embedded memory controller.)

...oh, and they overclock to high heaven!

I'd say go for it with them, as you can always upgrade to a faster 754 Athlon64 when you want 64Bit or a bit more grunt.
