Ok. I've had my Gfx card for a while now, GeForce 5200fx 128Mb. I am wanting to upgrade, and hopefully go to 256Mb. With about $200us, what do you think would be a good option?

Stick with what you have.

Stick with it if you like playing 3 year old games. (cue playing games is so childish diatribe)

For $200 I'd suggest a Radeon 9800, anything but LE.

hmm, I'm a pretty hardcore gamer, mainly FPS's, so I've been playing good old counter strike for the last what... 20 years with my Athlon 1.2 and a GEforce 2 GTS.
I thought I'd post the specs of what I'm thinking on my next computer on this thread.

Athlon 64 3000+
GA K8NS Nforce3
FX5900XT 128
512mb
19" flat crt

I'm going with a tight budget on this one too. And I'm hoping to run D3, HL2, Farcry, CSS, and all those nifty games I've been missing out on. If the 5900XT is good enough is what I'm wondering about. Also keep in mind I've been playing CS with my 1.2 and a GEforce2 till this day, and I have never seen an ingame rendered "shader" in my life. Also is it a good time to get the "last year" AGP models since the PCI E's are out, or should I wait a bit longer?...

hmm I am now concidering a especially concidering I can find it cheaper than the 5900xt...
