Reminds me of the "interview" where Stroustrup "admits" he created C++ as a great joke on the programming community.

Shit, that's why the psx emu goes so slow, it's programed in the bloted language of C.
On another note, c++ predates asm? That's like saying HTML predates binary coding. Now, don't get me wrong, the <tag></tag> format of HTML is extreamly low level, and far too advanced for my unintelligent self, but something tells me that it's not quite that difficult.
