The Germans had superior planes and training for most of the war. Not to mention, Erich Hartmann has 352 kills against the Soviet air force which eventually resorted to ramming their planes into German planes with the pilot jumping out - that counted as a kill to the Russians.
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Eddie Rickenbacker – America’s “Ace of Aces” served not only the World War I, but flew a B-17 in the Second, which he crashed into the Pacific ocean with his crew, but luckily survived by going on three rafts for three weeks.

Noted for: His lucky aviation
Achieved: Medal of Honor - the highest medal one can achieve in the United States military.

No googling this time since I'he always been a big aviation fan, so my compliments for the original contest idea and for bringing us an excellent game of course. :)

I could name them all, but my favourite one is Pierre Clostermann, RAF/Free France AF ace with estimates of up to 33 planes shot down in WWII, simply because I've been literally fascinated by his autobiographical book "Le grande cirque". :D
