Runtime assembler

Runtime assembler

Postby Phantom » Sep 28, 2001 @ 10:06am

Embedded Visual Tools (ARM version) does not accept inline assembly. Does anyone know of a runtime assembler, that turns some hardcoded strings with assembly in them into executable asm? That would be really cool. :) I don't really feel like experimenting with separate asm files.

Nope. armasm.exe is your buddy. You might try _emit, but I don't know if it's implemented in the compiler either.

You'll have to use separate asm files. I have separate ARM assembly files for PocketPalm, where I keep portions of the emulator.

Get the ASM docs directly from ARM by doanloading the ARM Developer Suite (demo).

PDAFantast.
