Hey folks,

I'm very pleased to announce that my game, The Nutcracker, will be for sale next Wednesday. The game will be distributed by GameLoft Pocket. On Wednesday the StrongARM version will be available; MIPS and SH3 versions will follow shortly after that.

An updated demo version based on the most recent engine core will also be available on Wednesday.

- Jacco.

Well, if you want to write a review, you can have a copy before the crowd gets it. :) Gotta be a GOOD review of course. :)

Wow, can't wait. I just tried the demo a few days ago, and it looks impressive.

The game in it's current state is MUCH better than the demo that you can download now at
http://www.pocketmatrix.com/phantom
It's more stable, has more options to play around with, there's a new map screen, better stuff to get you into the story and so on.
I can compile a PC version, but it's really only for debugging. On slower systems I have problems with event handling, and I don't really want to fix that since the PC version works great for me. It's absolutely great to have a PC version that compiles from the exact same sources; debugging is a piece of cake and I can use professional tools like boundschecker. :)

Congrats Jacco!

Always good to see someone from our "community" here finish a game and ship something. Good luck with your sales. Once you get that red Ferrari, be sure to remember all of us "little" people.

How about an HPC 2000 version?

I'm sorry, there won't be a HPC2000 version. I really need the 320 pixels vertical resolution; you can't just shrink that and have it looking right.

Chuck you do good reviews too!? are they extra?? ok just pulling your leg, sorry:)

Phantom, what if you just simply flipped the 320x240? I dont see anything that would cause a problem visually.

You think people will actually play a game holding the HPC on it's side? I never thought that would be an option. :)
