weird easyCE behaviour

hmm, all my easyCE apps have an annoying flickering random colored whitish vertical lines of about 15 pixels at the approximate coordinates of 160*50, any ideas why that is?

sample app does it, and unlimtedsprite and my own attempts at easyCE apps ;-)

anyone?

Are you running WisBar or some other app that runs all the time and updates its display regularly? On occasion I see portions of WisBar's battery meter being drawn where it shouldn't be.

Dan East

Hm, I've never heard of this behaviour before. It might be caused by some weird running app, like Dan suggested. But what app resides at 160 * 50? :)

I think I got it. You probably downloaded one of those today-screen extensions like a battery meter or whatever that is trying to update at that position. Could you check that? It's located at 160,50 and it's 15 pixels in height. :)

Jacco:

I narrowed the problem down a bit, it only happens when the ppc is in the craddle..

it happens with nothing else then a stock iPAQ 3850 (I hard resetted it)and then copied sampleapp over to the start menu, and then executed it..

I'm kinda lost here :-)

Hm, I guess the most logical reaction under these circumstances would have to be... "WHO CARES!" ;)
