What if everything is an illusion and nothing exists? In that case, I definitely overpaid for my carpet. -Woody Allen

Each line is one dialogue box. One thing -- I didn't install GAPI onto my system (for obvious reason).
GAPI Properties:
- 1037040 Width
- 19 Height
- 1040240 Bpp
- [blank]
- 43880100 Hex Vid

GameX Properties:
- 640 Width
- 240 Height
- 16 Bpp
- 1280 Ypitch
- 6190000 Hex Vid

That's it -- good luck!

PS: pKa, pK...<cringe> I hated acid/base nomenclature. The only thing I liked about chem was...nevermind I didn't like chem -- bio's my subject =).

Try this build.
It's HPC Doom, so you'll need a wad (you tried it earlier though)

http://home.freeuk.com/gamefreaks/d_mips.zip

Theres some major updates now though.

1) Put the wad in a folder called 'HPC Doom' (no speech marks)
This can be on a storage card if you wish.

2) IMPORTANT! To activate the MP770 fix, put a file called MP770.fix in the directory you have the wad in. This can be any type of file. My advice is use a blank PocketWord document. Don't forget to change the extension too, so it is NOT MP770.fix.doc.
You'll know if it worked as it'll show on the screen.

3) You must name your wad file according to what type it is. All Doom wad versions are now fully supported. 8)
Call your wad:
Doom1.wad: Shareware
Doom.wad: Registered (3 episodes)
Doomu.wad: Retail (4 episodes)
Doom2.wad: Commercial (DoomII)
Tnt.wad: TNT
Plutonia.wad:Plutonia experiment

Let me know if it works...

Well...I had a feeling I'd broken the shareware pak...
Anyway. I've fixed the offending code and tested it sucessfully on my HPC.

The versions i'm uploading are my working copies, it'll be a bit flaky on some things. Eg: if you try to load a Doom2 save file from a doom1 game, it'll crash ungraciously. But that's why i've not released it yet...

Ok, try again! (use the same link)

Oh yeah (if it works  ) let me know what you think of the new stuff.

-use ctrl to strafe.
-gamma sort-of works. (I started it about 10 minutes ago!)
-Much more stable. (I've played all the way through ultimate doom. No probs)
-Faster!
-Tidied up loading screens.
