I've done several soft-resets. I'd like to avoid doing a hard-reset. I'll just live without the clock being displayed.

I've looked through all the clock and user settings I can find and I've not found anyway to turn it on/off.

I'm wondering if the font that gets used got wiped out or the foreground color got changed to match the blue background color, or the font size got changed to be either too big or too small.

I looked through the registry, but of course there is no obvious setting that I could change.

Oh well.
