I didn't do anything to "get back at you." I don't work like that. I'm one of the ten people in the world that don't hold grudges. Hi.

Yeah, people have been getting way to prejudiced and stereotyping of Muslims. Over the summer with my school's religion class we went over to the local Islam Community Center and they were all really nice and talked a bit about their religion and stuff. What's really neat is that they believe that both Judaism and Christianity are right, along with Islam. Basically all those revered people from Judaism and Christianity (Abraham, Moses, Jesus, etc) are the messengers of Allah ("the god") and that Muhammed is just the last (and greatest) one sent by him. So even though Islam is the most correct, Jews and Christians can still go to heaven because they believe in the same god and pretty much the same teachings. And the guy who talked to us was also very respectful of the prophets, saying "peace be upon him" after mentioning any of them (Jesus, etc)

Before they did anything, like sit down or eat foot or open a door or drive a car, did they say "ahlla habada mumbo jumob babbah dah hooie" ??? I, obviously, just made that jibberish up. But there's some little Islamic "pray" that most say before doing any acts. It's act the beginning of every verse in their Bible, too. It means something like "By the supreme and merciful God." Something like that. I don't know specifics... and that's why I'm asking. Anyone got the 4-1-1?

I don't remember them doing that, but they do have a little prayer ceremony performed 5 times daily. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the obligation to pray that prayer 5 times a day is called the shahada. Maybe I'll go look it up in my "Religions of the World" book, but I'm too lazy right now.
