I heard somewhere about ATI who want to build a ppc with a graphic card designed for games. I think this is a better things for the world of ppc.

about IBM and AMD, It's only to build fastest processors, not to have smallest device. I don't remember why, But IBM had a problem with Intel. That's why they team up with AMD (revenge?). But it would be cool if they decide to go in the mobile market ^_^

They already have the Imageon 3200 out, as opposed to the current Imageon 1000. Check out the specs, I forget what it had to offer.

Anyone can use whatever instruction set they want. That's why you can use an AMD XP or Intel P4 in your desktop computer, they both use the x86 instruction set.
