OMG, you have that personal-minigolf-thingy! now that´s kewl.

My bedroom is usually clean, but the room where I study is always a mess. Lots of books and cds and cables and papers.. oh the papers.. thousands of them everywhere..

my desk area:

My stereo system:

Panasonic SA-AK78 (400W, 5 speakers)

I just have it hooked up to my laptop via Stereo RCA. My laptop has SPDIF out though, so I'm thinking maybe I could hook my stereo up to my laptop via that; then it'd be all digital and stuff; but RCA is fine for now.

Bah, my comp sound system = owns j00. 4 speakers, 570 watts. Dual amplifiers. I have a JVC MX-GT80 mini-system for my front speakers and a maybe 20 year old LaFayette 220 watt amp powering 3 1/2 foot tall Marantz speakers. The Marantz's have 12 inch woofers and the JVC speakers have 6 inch "Advanced Hypper Power-Drive Subwoofer"s

My jvc system. Kinda scary looking!

Yeah, sometimes I use my band's amp for music, but mostly on trips ("playing musical instruments" is a great excuse to bring a giant speaker sound system with ya!) with my family.

It's a relatively small amp, so we almost always feed it into our PA system, which is also pretty good, except that we have like 4 cabinets and 4 stand-mounted monitors.

My dad's 2 cabinets are nice (and broken), but he doesn't use them and he said I could have them. There are 4 speakers in each cabinet: one little tweeter, one like 8" midrange, a 12 inch woofer, and a 12+ inch subwoofer. The subs and woofers are completely blown, though. All of the foam/rubber around them is gone, completely deteriorated. We're going to get them fixed sometime, though....
Die, Palm, Die. If that offended you, then get rid of your Palm OS device.

My 200 watt system hits 105db in stride... Is volume the only thing that wattage does? Or are y'all using it in ignorance as some kind of overall rating. Because I know you can have a 200 watt sub and if it's in some nasty box it's going to sound like garbage, so... really, what is the wattage rating mean to y'all?

well i just use mine when our bands not playing a show, and since we only play 2-3 times a month.. we have another pa which we use for practice, one of those pretty fender pa's that are weak as hell. Its a mere 250watts, that definitly hardly can make my voice hearable over the guitars and bass
