Speaking of tree huggers and psycho religions, my grandfather told me this story a while ago. My grandparents are grass seed farmers and a neighbor of theirs owned a field next to a hippy woman. There was a big tree (maybe oak, I can't remember), out in his field that he constantly had to dodge with his machinery everytime he harvested his crop. One day he got a bulldozer and was about to push down this tree in his field. When this neighbor was about ready to push down this tree, the hippy lady that lived beside the field, came running out screaming to not push down the tree. When he asked her why, she said that the tree was her god, and she meditated under it and prayed to it every day. The farmer thought she was obviously a druged up loony, so he called the cops after she would not leave his property and he bulldozed the tree. I don't know what happened to the lady after that, but geeze what a psycho.

note: i didnt mean its cool if you call me a tree hugger, although have you ever thought of the meaning of that? Do the tree huggers ever actually hug the trees? Or do they just like them? What about them danderphiliacs or whatever that screw trees? Are they an advanced version of tree huggers?

No, they "hug" the trees by chaining themselves to it.
