Some Questions about a pen ;)

Some Questions about a pen ;)

Postby R0B » Mar 24, 2003 @ 4:05am

Ok, since I am going to college next year, I thought that it might be useful to get on eof those pens that can scan text and then ocr it into digital text, for notetaking, and stuff like that. Well, after a bit of research, I think I found out which one people are claiming to be the best right now, but I am not posotive on it. From what I see, the WizCom QuickLink Pen Handheld Scanner is currently the most accurate on the market. If anyone has any expereance with these devices, or has any comments or suggestions, please post. More input would be very useful, seeing as most reviews are at least a year and half old. TIA

Save your money. they are pretty useless.

if you must scan get a real flatbed scanner and bag it over to library along with your laptop.

Most of the time it's faster to just type things out than use scanner.
