actually i liked that bit, thats really cool. it doesnt matter how bad effects are if the event they're portraying is really cool. spider-man looked ropey but its all about the feel of it.

reloaded's 2 hours 18 from what i've heard. they say it'll end in a freeze frame in the middle of that car chase we saw then the next one picks up right from that point.

edit: oh yeah, after 8 MINUTES of end credits they'll show the teaser to revolutions. pong.

HAHA! Those tricky bastages.

But also, I just realized something. The reason I liked Matrix so much was because it was cool, original, and got me thinking. Everything in the movie was plausibly explained. With this sequel that plausibility will vanish as far as I can tell. There are real life men in black (the agents), but there are no real life dreadlocked men in white that turn into vapors. There is no widescale war going on. ... whatever. No one listen to me, I haven't enjoyed a movie in the last 6 years.

i think we have opposite viewpoints here. the reason you liked the first was why i didnt like it so much - you say its original, but i'd seen that kinda stuff before, whereas this new one, with the white men turning to vapour and a big war raging etc, seems great to me.

those guys in white are british by the way and used to be carpenters on a diy series on tv.
