Why the heck did Palm make the "zire" it is the crapiest thing I have ever seen besides crap. :roll:

Crap? It's the best $100 (originally) PDA. Obviously it's not aimed at people like you; it's aimed at people who only want it as an organizer and don't give a shit about features. It's pretty small too and has a LiIon battery.

And the Zire sold LOTS.

Or are you talking about the Zire 71?

I played around a bit with the Zire 71, very clever design for the camera, feels pretty solid. The screen refresh is fairly poor, but attractive display.

I'd get the Zire 71 for just a toy camera and organizer. But I don't like the color of the zire!

not sure the details on it, just was very choppy when using the screen as a camera viewfinder.

I would buy it if it cost a bit less. Like $250. That would be resonable for a palm with a choppy screen.
