I found article interesting. I didn't know that Europeans took so much time away from work.
From the article...
The relatively hard-working British — hardworking by European standards — get 28 paid vacation days a year. Germans get 35, the French, 37, Italians, 42.
...
The Los Angeles Times reports that Americans have an average of just sixteen vacation days a year, and they are vacationing less and less — 10 percent less this year than last.
I knew there was a difference in the amount of vacation time between Europe and the US but I didn't think it was that large. I've been at work 7 days a week since the middle of May trying to finish a project, working through two paid holidays and probably another on the upcoming Labor Day. Maybe I should move to Italy?
