Mini iPods?

Postby James S » Dec 24, 2003 @ 9:24pm

I have a 14 hour car drive to my University on breaks. I could take a longer battery life.

And I was stuck on an airplane for 18 hours when I was going from LA to Sydney, so I'll take the longest battery life that I can get. The old iPods used to get 10 hours...apple has put smaller batteries in the new 3G (That's Third Generation moosey) iPods, and battery life has suffered. Six hours isn't enough for me, but then again, my nomad zen is too big, and I guess size takes precidence over size with me, so the iPod is the way to go.

You plug it into the air power port.

I'm driving to Buffalo this summer, with several stops along the way, staying there a few days, and then back, I DEMAND 72+ HOUR BATTERY LIFE DAMMIT!

Are you so stupid to not think of using some sort of power outlet? My normal CD player doesn't get 18 hours of battery life.
holy internets batman.

Right now I use an Archos Jukebox Recorder 10 gig MP3 player. It's quite old, but still beats the snot out of every player out there except the Ipods and one or two other Archos products.

It runs on 4 rechargable batteries; built in AA's and I get about 20 hours or so of continuous use. I went to the Czech Republic, a 10+ hour drive, and I had music all the way. Didn't hear the same song twice!
