A question about international charging

A question about international charging

Postby sandmann » Mar 30, 2004 @ 10:06pm

I'm going to Spain in a couple days with my class, and of course I want to bring a few things that need to be charged (iPod and my digital camera, to be specific). I checked on the iPod's voltage, and it says this:

AC input: 100V to 240V at 0.4 amp maximum

Can I use this in Spanish electrical outlets (provided I have the adapter) WITHOUT a transformer? Or should I use a transformer?

Thanks for the help.

Sandmann...all you have to do is go to the mac store and buy the adapter set for your iPod's plugin. If you'll look on your iPods power adapter (the white square thing), you'll seee that the american plug will slide out, and a new one can be slid into place.

Oh. I checked the charger for the battery for my camera, and it said 110-240V. So as long as it says, that I don't need a transformer at all! Yay!
