I heard about it on the news yesterday. I don't understand why anyone would steal such a well known painting. I doubt they're easy to sell. Sure, some rich type could buy it and stash it somewhere, but you couldn't hang it in your house; people'd notice. Holding it for ransom seems more likely, but do they honestly think they could get away with that? Police will get you eventually.
