Well, I got 7:00 tickets last night, watched up to the point in which Seriff was going into the club, and then the power in the theater shut down. They gave us crappy refund tickets, but they weren't good to see any new movies within a week of release (fuck that.)
So, I headed to another theater where I got a really late show, and saw the movie.
The new oracle totally sucked, and their reasoning behind her was even worse. The whole thing with the indian program and karma wasn't that great, and they still really didn't put much stress on the Merrovinician (sp?).
Also, it was extremely predictable. I figured right out that we couldn't have Neo flying through the matrix and blowing things up with his mind after the war was over right away, so I figured he would probably die.
And I knew they had the whole neo-can't-extist-without-trinity thing going, so I felt they'd probably give justification to what I thought (and was correct) would probably be a suicide march by Neo by killing her right before the end. It may not have been right before the end, but I was right nevertheless.
Also, everyone here got the significance of the black cat in the end... it walked by, the crater dissapeared, and it walked by again? If you didn't get it, watch the original again.
And there WASN'T anyone who didn't get why Smith dissapeared in the end? Smith was the opposite of neo. When a number and its opposite merge, you always get 0- just think about that. It'll come to you.
