Again, I SAID that Bush is spending like a liberal, and that THAT is what bugs me about him.
I am happy that you googled up a few negatives on "Voodoo Economics." However, having studied economics myself, and having been in the business world for some time, I can tell you that the jury is decidedly out on the subject. For every major economist that says its bunk, you will find another that says it is not...I suppose that mentioning the premier economist here as being a supporter won't sway you.
The booms of the 80s and 90s were direct results of supply side economics. People were able to build substantial wealth and turn that into angel funding for a considerable number of upstarts in California, and THAT, my friend, fueled the Internet boom...not taxing the crap out of the "rich" and making more social programs.
Send me a candidate that thinks like Bush and spends like Regan and I'll vote for them...actually...send me Regan. In the mean time I put national security above all else, and Bush is the only one I have seen with the balls to do anything, so I'll stick with him.
We can argue economics all day and never agree. I admit that I am the last guy to go out and google up a bunch of numbers to back my claim...so if that is what you are looking for, I am not the guy. My area of expertise lies in defense...not money...sorry.
