I missed getting in on the start of this thread, but I'm 42 and have been writing code since I was 14. That was in 1974, kiddies, and it was Fortran programming on a Sperry/Univac mainframe where you stored your programs on 1" paper punch tape. Old school, bayBEE!!!
Oh and as far as licenses go, up until about 8 years ago I had a Class A Commercial Operators license with a motorcycle endorsement which meant I could drive anything with wheels. Lately, the less I drive the happier I am.
