If you are ashamed to be an American, that sounds like a personal problem. It is always the lefty-liberal types who say they are ashamed to be American when someone disagrees with them. Pfft...don't like it, leave.

Define socially acceptable please? Seriously...explain to me why gays need any rights beyond those afforded all people by the Constitution? There is nothing inherently contributory or benificial to society about gay relationships, so I fail to see the issue. You wanna be gay...great...have fun...just stop with the flags and the marches and the bullshit already.

What is TRULY wrong with America, is the 'americans' who seem to seek differentiation while preaching social equality. It's a farce, and anyone with a brain will recognize it as such.

The fact that Gay Couples cannot have kids natrually brings them to adopting kids. How does that not help society? Lets not forget the fact that the tax breaks go to married couples whether they have kids or not. Should sterile people still get the Tax Breaks, they aren't benefiting society in any way, according to you.

Marriage is becoming an archaic insitution, because all anyone cares about in our society is sex. 75% percent of all marriages end in divorce. Today on the way to work I heard on the radio women calling in and saying that they would leave their husband for their first true love...THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU GET MARRIED?? WHY DID YOU SETTLE? I am starting to think finding a meaningful relationship is hopeless.

Same sex marriages are sanctioned based on their best-case benefit. Thus, all are treated equally irrelevant of sterility.

You proceed from a false notion that same-sex couples should even be ALLOWED to adopt. I, and I am sure many others, would tend to disagree with that idea.
